We are TEAM SCLAFANI!
TEAM SCLAFANI rides in honor and support of cancer survivor Pat Sclafani.
TEAM SCLAFANI was formed three years ago when Pat was first diagnosed with cancer. We’ve supported Pat through his treatments including surgery, multiple rounds of chemotherapy and radiation. TEAM SCLAFANI first rode in the 2007 CT Challenge when Pat was only 6 weeks removed from his last chemo treatment. Crossing the finish line with him after 50 miles was an incredibly special moment.
TEAM SCLAFANI has grown to include new members who are riding to remember and honor family and friends that have been touched by cancer. The Connecticut Challenge bike ride gives us the opportunity to celebrate family, friendship and life. We are all proud to be a part of Pat’s team.
Join us in supporting the Connecticut Challenge and help provide important resources for cancer survivors. We are training to cycle in the Connecticut Challenge on July 25th. Proceeds from our ride will fund adult and pediatric survivorship clinics, cancer survivor research and other support programs. Cancer survivors need follow-up care for life and we are helping them. We hope you will support our efforts by making a secure online donation here or printing out a donor form and sending it in with a check. All cancer survivors will benefit.
